SNORKEL CARE
POLISHED STAINLESS SNORKEL -
To keep your snorkel looking good, we suggest washing regularly. Clean straight after all beach trips. Don't let sap or bird dropping sit for long periods of time.
We suggest after washing your car to use a product similar to '3M - Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polisher'. Even though we use 316 stainless, this will help keep your snorkel from the environments and keep it from discolouring.
POWDER COATED STAINLESS SNORKEL -
To keep your snorkel looking good, we suggest washing regularly. Clean straight after all beach trips. Don't let sap or bird dropping sit for long periods of time.
We suggest using 'Bowens - Boss gloss' on your snorkel when cleaning your car. we also suggest applying a wax coating to your snorkel every few months, this will help keep your finish from fading and prevent any sun damage.
AIRBOX CARE
AIRBOXES -
Our Airboxes are supplied with a drain bolt. The bolt is meant to be used when 4X4ing so that the intake system is a sealed unit. However we recommend not having the bolt in for everyday use allowing trapped water out.
If water does subside into the airbox we recommend wiping out and drying the airbox completely, also checking that the filter is dry before refitting.
Our airboxes are supplied with reusable filters. these filters are designed to protect your motor but need to be cleaned and reoiled. Link below to see how.
